British Museum, for many reasons but particularly the Rosetta Stone and the Greco/Roman classics collections. The London Tower tour was a lot of fun, too ("Oh, that's so tourist-y!", "Guess what? I don't live in London, so... I *am* a tourist.") Any pub with a proper draught (the big handles pulling beer up from the cellar). My wife flew over to meet me there when I was on a business trip. While I was working, she got to go see the Tate Modern. By her description, I still regret not getting to see it myself. Hopefully next time. Tour Westminster Abbey, see the graves of a lot of big historical figures (e.g. Darwin) and check out the coronation chair. Walk Hyde Park, one of the nicest parks in the world (that I've been in, anyway). If you have young kids or nieces/nephews, pick up a stuffed Paddington Bear and book for them at Paddington Station, click a few off your holiday shopping before it's even summer. Have a great trip!
